The awards ceremony for the Golden Lions of the 17th International Architecture Exhibition will take place at Ca’ Giustinian, headquarters of La Biennale di Venezia (San Marco 1364/a) starting at 4 pm. It will be live-streamed on www.labiennale.org.
The international jury – with members Kazuyo Sejima (president-Japan), Sandra Barclay (Peru), Lamia Joreige (Lebanon), Lesley Lokko (Ghana-Scotland), Luca Molinari (Italy) – will award the following official prizes:
- Golden Lion for best National Participation
- Golden Lion for best Participant in the International Exhibition How will we live together?
- Silver Lion for a promising young participant in the International Exhibition How will we live together?
The ceremony will also celebrate Lina Bo Bardi, the Italian architect, designer, scenographer, artist and critic, naturalised as a Brazilian citizen, with a Special Golden Lion in memoriam.
